Info & FAQs
We are a small family business dedicated to providing an efficient and reliable quality service to you our customer.
The business is run from a large workshop and small gallery at home which gives more flexability to our working hours, normally 10 - 6 Monday to Saturday (Closed bank holiday weekends). However callers are most welcome outside of these hours by appointment, so in effect if I'm in we are open.
We offer art from artists around the whole of Ireland and as a Fine Art Guild Commended Framer offer a wide choice of frames made to order specifically for your artwork, be it purchased from ourselves or your own. We also provide a computerised mount cutting service to the trade which can be delivered throughout Britain and Ireland.
Background information.
Originally I started out as a carpenter and joiner, and became interested in picture framing as a hobby. After many years of helping out friends and family by framing their photographs etc, In 2002 I attended a commercial framing school recognised by the Fine Art Trade Guild to further my knowledge and skills. In 2003 I then sat the Guilds examination for picture framers and qualified as a Guild Commended Framer. Over the years in business many local artists had mentioned how difficult it was to get their artwork into the public domain, therefore we re-arranged our workspace to offer a small Gallery and reception area to facilitate viewing of their work. Expanding on this idea we also decided on bringing this art to a wider audience via the web.
